Digitized Government Institutions to be Honoured at 8th Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards (GITTA)
Government Institutions taking the lead in technology and digitization will be honoured at the upcoming 8th  Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards( GITTA) scheduled to hold on June 29th at the Mövenpick Ambassador hotel.

According to the Data Development Group of the World Bank, ICT infrastructure in Ghana is progressing as compared to other low-income countries globally and above the 1.1% average for the Sub Saharan Africa.

Hence the nomination of some public-sector agencies at the highly anticipated 8th Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards (GITTA).

In a signed statement from the organizers’ of the awards; Instinct Wave, the  CEO, Akin Naphtal, mentioned that recognizing tech savvy agencies in the public sector will deepen the penetration of ICT in the sector and also raise the bench mark of excellence.

“This is in line with   the President’s ‘Ghana beyond Aid Vison’ which  leverages on Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) to take advantage of the vast brain power Ghanaians have been endowed with to make a difference in the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian.
